THRIVING ATHLETES: How to Maintain a Healthy Mind, Body and Soul!

Seattle, WA

Spry Lee Scott, co-Founder of Medicine4Melanin™, will lead a conversation on mental health and wellness among BIPOC children and youth participating in competitive and recreational sports programs. The discussion will emphasize sports participation as a path towards healing, prevention, and intervention on current challenges facing our youth. The panelists will explore ways to cultivate healthy attitudes about sports and recreation (and beyond), while prioritizing mental health, self-care, and healing practices. Athletes of all ages and abilities are welcome to attend.
